Blue Lotus is not technically a lotus, but a water lily. It has been revered for thousands of years as a sacred botanical, deeply woven through the rituals, symbolism and temple traditions of ancient Egypt and other cultures.

This particular Blue Lotus is ethically grown and wild harvested in Thailand, where it is lovingly gathered for its beautiful, aromatic flowers.

A sacred plant ally to weave into rituals of beauty, introspection, relaxation and deeper connection, Blue Lotus invites us to soften the senses and turn inward.

Ways to work with Blue Lotus

Tea Ritual
Steep one petal in a cup of hot water for at least 4 minutes. Set your intention, breathe deeply and sip slowly.

Bathing Ritual
Place a couple of flowers into a warm bath or foot bath and allow the petals to float around you as you soften and unwind.

Dream Ritual
Place a small amount of dried flower beneath your pillow or beside your bed as part of your evening ritual and intention setting.

Altar & Sacred Space
Adorn your altar, sacred space or ceremonial table with the flowers as a symbol of beauty, mystery and devotion.

Herbal Blends & Incense
The flowers may also be incorporated into appropriate herbal smoke blends or incense rituals.

Blue Lotus has traditionally been associated with relaxation, dreamwork, sensuality, heightened sensitivity and connection to the unseen realms. It is a beautiful companion for moments of stillness, introspection, pleasure and deeper dreaming.

A flower for the senses.
A flower for the dreamer.
A flower for remembering.

It is an honour to share these sacred flowers with the TEMPLECRAFT community.

As always, sip with intention.
And when your ritual is complete, return the flowers to the earth with gratitude.

Please note: Blue Lotus is a traditional botanical used for ceremonial and ritual purposes. Effects can vary from person to person. Use thoughtfully and research suitability before consuming, particularly if pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or managing a health condition.
